JASMINE AHERN

Jazz moved around a lot as a kid, growing up mostly in both Memphis, TN and New Britain, CT. She struggled with identity all her life personally and culturally. This lead to depression, self-hate, and addiction. It wasn’t until her parents got really sick in a very low point of her life that she learned what an unashamed love for Christ looked like. God performed miracles in her life ultimately leading her to find true identity through Him. In 2019 she was baptized and reborn with her husband and is now living a sober, God-centered life with their son in Colchester, CT. 

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NIV
