
Discipleship Groups
As a follower of Jesus helping people find and follow Jesus. These groups will challenge, equip, and encourage you to to grow spiritually. Discipleship groups are co-ed. open to EVERYONE, and are led by trained RevGroups Leaders.

1. Bible 101

The Bible is God’s Word, one of His ways of speaking to us. As Christians, we should read it daily and find ways to apply it to our lives. Many people don’t know how to begin or are overwhelmed. Participants in this course will learn about the Bible itself, practice ways to read and understand it, and develop a habit of reading the Bible daily.

2. Basic Habits of Obedience

Being a disciple of Jesus gives us a relationship with the Lord, but it also brings the responsibility to become personally more like Him. Participants in this course will explore basic spiritual disciplines that Jesus demonstrated such as spending time with the Lord, serving others, knowing scripture, and more. As we learn and grow in each of these areas, we will naturally cultivate more fruitful lives for His Kingdom.

3. Next Level Obedience

Establishing basic habits of obedience is just the beginning of becoming an effective disciple of Jesus. In this course, we will focus more deeply on complete surrender to the Lord, which builds upon those basic habits. Some of the topics that will be covered are time management, living a life of integrity, commitment, obedience, and accountability. Participants in this course will delve deeper into the ways disciples must internally change to live in ways that will manifest outwardly.

4. Life on Mission

As disciples of Jesus, we are also disciple-makers. We are called to be “followers of Jesus helping others find and follow Jesus” -- always. When we live life on mission, we are intentional about looking for opportunities to share the Gospel and serve others. Participants in this course will examine and practice the actions to take in living a life on mission while developing a plan for their personal life ministry.

5. Prayer 101

Prayer is a fundamental spiritual discipline. While some think of prayer as a listing of requests for God's help, it is meant to be a time of communion with God. In this course, we will use the Lord's Prayer to investigate how Jesus taught us to pray and discover ways that prayer can transform our minds and lives.

Book Study Groups
Meet new people and begin your spiritual growth process through a Book Study. An approved book/workbook will be utilized over the Group semester. These groups are led by trained RevGroups Leaders.

6. Gentle and Lowly

Wednesdays | 6:30-8:30pm
Christians know what Jesus Christ has done—but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is “gentle and lowly in heart.” This book reflects on these words, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who he is for sinners and sufferers today.

7. Imagine the God of Heaven

Join us for a time of fellowship as we read through “Imagine the God of Heaven” by John Burke together. We will realize that God’s love, power, compassion, friendship, and guidance are closer than we could ever imagine. And for such a time as this, we need to know that a loving God is within our reach.

8. The Men We Need

The world needs real men, real bad. But here's the problem: While we know what men are not supposed to be, it's not clear to us what masculinity looks like when men are at their absolute best.

9. Sacred Parenting

How Raising Children Shapes Our Souls is a book by Gary Thomas that explores the idea that parenting is a spiritual journey, and that children are teachers who can transform parents. The book's premise is that raising children shapes parents just as much as parents shape their children.

10. New Believers

Have you recently started following Jesus? Or maybe you’re just now ready to move forward in your walk with Him? Do you know how to navigate your Bible? We have people who can guide you and resources to share with you. Come chat with us so that you can learn just how awesome a life with Jesus is. This group is co-ed.

11. Unbound

Wednesdays | 6:30-8:00pm
Addiction is a personal, relational, but most importantly, a spiritual problem. By studying the truth in God’s word, being of service to our communities, and establishing a structured mentorship, we learn to surrender completely to a new way of life established by the gospel of grace and freedom. Through this community of believers, we have become UNBOUND! This group is co-ed.

12. Mom's Backyard Bible Time

2nd & 4th Wednesdays | 10:00-11:30am
Join other moms on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month for an hour and a half of discipleship and fellowship. Our goal is to encourage moms to love God, lead their children, and lean on each other. We will use Devotions for Sacred Parenting by Gary Thomas to start us offin our time of discussion while our kiddos enjoy playing together.

13. Young Adults

You’re invited to join our young adult’s ministry, studying the Bible as one unified story leading to Christ. We are focused on discipleship and fellowship to build a community of young adults wanting to live for God. All levels of knowledge and maturity are welcome to hear the word, grow in our understanding, and make an impact in our generation.
